I’m Amaya.Wife, mama, designer, and strategist, but most of all, a woman on assignment.
I started this work five years ago, in the middle of the pandemic. Everything felt upside down, and creating something beautiful made sense.
Satin + Oil was born out of one of the hardest seasons of my life: I lost a business, a pregnancy, and my sense of direction. But in the quiet, I found what really matters. I’ve rebranded more times than I can count—but this time, I finally knew my purpose and why it mattered.
I’m here for the ones who’ve done the hustle and now crave something deeper: service providers, influencers, and founders ready to build with purpose—not pressure. You’ve got experience, confidence, and a vision that deserves to last. Now it’s time for a brand that gives you freedom and aligns with who you truly are.
I’m a stay-at-home mom building a business around nap times, TV time, and late nights—helping you build the brand you were born to lead. Most of my best ideas? They come while folding laundry or cleaning the kitchen.
Also… I’ve been living in Alaska the past few years. Yes, it’s freezing. Yes, it’s beautiful.

What’s your go-to reset when you’re feeling stuck?
A BOILING HOT everything shower. Fresh sheets. A nostalgic movie. Cute pajamas. That’s my reset recipe.
A piece of advice that changed everything?
“Seek first His kingdom.” That, and learning to build a business that prioritizes high-value clients, not hustle. More time. More peace. Less burnout.
What’s something clients might not know about you?
I’m probably more excited about your project than you are!
What do you hope people feel after working with you?
Empowered. Clear. And finally confident about where they’re going.
What’s your version of a perfect weekend?
An adventure with my husband, good food, a good church service, and my house smelling like bleach and pinesol.
When do you feel most confident in your work?
During the brand strategy process, where the vision gets clear and the purpose gets louder.
A belief that shapes everything you do?
If it’s not built on a solid foundation, it will crumble. God + Strategy first. Always.
What’s a favorite part of your daily routine?
Laying out my husband’s clothes and packing his lunch. As well as, watching my son run around the house getting into EVERYTHING.
What’s one gift you’d give to every woman in business?
A full week at a spa and a staycation at a nice hotel.
